Upcoming Events

-Tuesday, Feb. 28: Press conference to announce Duluth's racial equality report card, 5pm at the Holiday Center.

-Friday, Mar. 2: The Northland Anti-War Coalition will be holding a picket to demand that the troops & war dollars be brought home now. The picket will be held from 5-6pm at the MN Power Plaza at Lake Ave. & Superior St. in Duluth.

-Saturday, Mar. 3: There will be an anti-racist gathering at the MN Power Plaza (Lake Ave. & Superior St. in downtown Duluth) starting at 9am. Food and signs will be on hand.

-Saturday, Mar. 3: At 10am there will be an Anishinabe gathering in the Civic Center to protect a sacred object of theirs on the grounds from the neo-Nazi rally that will also be taking place at 10am at the Civic Center. All anti-racist allies are welcome.

-Saturday, Mar. 3: At 10am there will also be an anti-racist gathering at the Lift Bridge in Canal Park.

About Us

The Northland Anti-War Coalition is a broad coalition of labor, student, community and political activists and groups dedicated to ending the war in Iraq. We are based in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. We were founded in December of 2002. Our coalition has three points of unity: 1. opposition to U.S. military interventions; 2. opposition to anti-Arab and anti-Muslim scapegoating; 3. standing if defense of our civil liberties.
